For the love of art, in the form of a table spread with cards and read to the dance of a question, in stories and words that lead to a cave of treasures, and the beauty that can be conjured through hands. This is an oracular nest of wanderings. Herein strands meet.

Natalia Lee self portrait in oils.

I am Natalia Lee, a voracious reader that also writes, tells fortunes with cards, paints and draws. A poet, storyteller, artist, and cartomancer. A lover of books. This is what pulled me into to world of telling fortunes, the visual world disclosed through the seemingly arbitrary semiotic / semantic adventures with the words we ask with and these little pieces of paper.

I engage with all I do as an art that I hone and share from the heart.

~Once a month I send out a letter to subscribers, I like to call it endnotes from the table, the fortuneteller’s table, where cards are spread and read. You can hop on by signing up: Endnotes from the table.~

There are several things inside this treasure chest, so to speak, my writings on cartomancy can be found in Animating the Pips, my explorations with Saint Cyprian and his crossed cartomancy can be explored by going to Cyprianic Cartomancy. Foremost in all this, is my recently published hand drawn deck through Hadean Press, Saint Cyprian’s Deck of Cards. You can also find my conversations with others in Conversations. As storyteller and writer, I have a short story published through Fiddler’s Greene Zine, and a poem as part of the collection 21+1 Fortune Teller’s Rules from Eyecorner Press which you can find through Works.
